Spiritual Direction Course September 2026 – June 2028
Spiritual Direction provides a valuable opportunity for people to talk about their faith in private with a trained Director. Spidir is commencing a Formation Course for those who would like to become a Spiritual Director (also known as Soul Friend, Spiritual Accompaniment / Companion), in September 2026.

Who we are
We are an informal ecumenical Christian network promoting spiritual direction.
We operate in and around South London & South East England.

There are other Spiritual Direction groups throughout England. Many can be found through Diocesan and other Christian organisation websites such as the Spidir Network, https://www.spidirnetwork.org.uk/. They are not formally linked with us.

The name SPIDIR comes from the contraction of Spiritual Direction.

If you would like to become a member of Spidir, click the button to apply. Please note that general membership will provide access to our newsletters and information meetings. However if you also wish to become a Spidir Director (i.e. if you have previously trained as a Director either with Spidir or another Spiritual Direction organisation), see the note about contacting the Chair of Spidir, below.

(Please note that Spidir policy is that we do not charge fees for Direction. Also, our principal area of activity is within the Anglican Southwark Diocese region including South East London, although we do have some Directors in North London. All our Directors are members of Spidir, so you will be asked to join up - only £15 a year!)
